I am an experienced occupational therapist who earned a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Rockhurst University in 2003. I have advanced training and expertise in the evaluation and treatment of sensory processing disorder, feeding disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. My specialized professional education includes Masgutova Neurosensory Reflex Integration, Rhythmic Movement Training, Integrated Listening Systems, Safe and Sound Protocol, Sensory Integration and Praxis Test certification, Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding, Handwriting Without Tears, Neurodevelopmental Treatment and Interactive Metronome.
I have practiced in a variety of pediatric settings including early intervention, homes, schools, and outpatient clinics and have worked with children birth to 18 years. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and have taught children's yoga classes since 2015. I enjoy yoga, pilates, volleyball, skiing, traveling, cooking, knitting and reading during my free time.
