The Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) is a five-day music-based intervention designed to reduce sound sensitivity while improving social responses and mental flexibility. Based on the Polyvagal Theory, by calming the nervous system, the SSP results in improved emotional and behavioral regulation, communication and more successful therapy.
The SSP is a research-based therapy that requires the participant to listen to specially-filtered music. This program is showing significant results in just 5-10 days for 30-60 minutes per day in the following areas:
- Social and emotional difficulties
- Sound sensitivities
- Anxiety
- Inattention
